Gary Burrows
Gary Burrows is a cornerstone of South Australia's music industry, bringing over five decades of experience as a performer, songwriter, and industry advocate to the SA Music Hall of Fame Committee. He began his career in the 1960s as a drummer with The Evergreens and later played with notable bands such as Brass Carnival and The Boys, achieving national chart success. Burrows has written over 200 songs, including the top-charting "Peter Motley" tribute. Beyond performing, he served as APRA's SA/NT manager for 33 years, supporting songwriters and licensing. As Chairman of Support Act SA and a founding member of the Adelaide Music Collective, Burrows continues to champion South Australian music, earning inductions into both the SA Music Hall of Fame and the SA Country Music Hall of Fame.

John 'JB' Bywaters
John “JB” Bywaters has shaped South Australia’s music scene since his teens. Best known as bassist for 1960s band The Twilights, his talent defined their sound and success. Beyond performing, Bywaters has championed local music as a committee member for the South Australian Music Hall of Fame and Support Act SA, preserving the state’s musical heritage and fostering new talent. His lifelong dedication to music, both on stage and behind the scenes, secures his legacy as an influential figure and mentor in Australian music.

Annette Day - Treasurer
Annette Day, a former radio Advertising Executive, is known for her marketing savvy and talent for building strong campaigns and relationships. Married to Hall of Fame founder David “Daisy” Day, Annette helped establish the South Australian Music Hall of Fame and its rich collection of memorabilia. A committee member since inception, her wide network spans radio, TV, music, and more—she always knows someone who can help. Despite life’s challenges, her resilience and dedication make her the heartbeat of the Committee and a cornerstone of South Australia’s music heritage.

John Rose
John Rose is an Adelaide musician whose passion for music began in his teens and continues today with the same band he started in. Alongside performing, he built the world’s largest graffiti removal supply business, which also houses free rehearsal spaces and equipment for local bands. For over twenty years, John has supported hundreds of acts and institutions by offering space, gear, and advice to help South Australia’s music scene thrive. His dedication to recognising and celebrating entertainment excellence makes him a valued member of the SA Music Hall of Fame Committee.

Gareth Lewis
Gareth Lewis brings over two decades of experience in live music promotion, venue management, and artist development to the South Australian Music Hall of Fame Committee. As co-founder of General Admission Entertainment and co-owner of UniBar Adelaide, he has been instrumental in curating major festivals like Beer & BBQ Fest and booking hundreds of local acts. His leadership has helped elevate South Australia's music scene, and his strategic insight continues to support the Hall of Fame’s mission to honour and grow the state’s musical legacy.

Director at HWR Media and Publisher of The Note, a monthly Adelaide-based music magazine and digital network. With over a decade in music and entertainment media (Rip It Up, The Music, News Corp), Olly brings media and marketing insight, strong ties to the local scene, and a genuine passion for SA Music.

Peter Millen
Peter Millen is an Adelaide-based music historian and avid collector of 1960s music. He authored Rockin' the City of Churches: A History of Recorded Pop Music in Adelaide in the 1960s, a comprehensive account of the city's vibrant music scene during that era . Millen's deep knowledge and passion for South Australian music history make him a valuable contributor to the South Australian Music Hall of Fame Committee.

Rob Pippan
Rob Pippan, SA Music Hall of Fame inductee, has been active in music since 1975. As a founding Zep Boys member, he’s collaborated with over 100 artists, musically directed major events, composed for TV, earned four ARIA nominations, advised government on live music, and teaches at UniSA and in schools. He passionately supports South Australian music.

Carol Neller - Acting Secretary
Carol Neller is a recent addition to our Committee and has taken on the role as Secretary. Carol is an advertising copywriter with a background in radio, event management, business consulting and marketing – all skills that are valuable to us here at the South Australian Music Hall of Fame! She is also actively involved in the horse community in South Australia and is actively involved with the Support Act SA Fundraising Committee.
