The Largs Pier Hotel, located in Largs Bay, South Australia, has a rich music history dating back to the 1970s. The Largs Pier Hotel became a popular live music venue in the early 1970s and 1980s, hosting local and national acts. The hotel's beachside location and lively atmosphere made it a favourite among music fans.  The Largs Pier Hotel has played host to numerous iconic performances, including AC/DC, Cold Chisel, Little River Band, Split Enz, Ted Mulry Gang, Billy Thorpe, The Angels, Skyhooks, Rose Tattoo and local bands including James Wright and Rashamra.

In the 1990s and 2000s, the Largs Pier Hotel continued to host live music events and, today, remains a beloved institution.  The Largs Pier Hotel's contribution to Adelaide's music scene is undeniable. It has provided a platform for countless local musicians, helping to launch the careers of many notable Australian bands. The hotel's commitment to live music earned it a loyal following and reputation as one of Adelaide's most iconic music venues.
