Since its inception in 1972, The University of Adelaide’s UniBar has played a vital role in the student experience and contributing to the live music culture in South Australia.  Over the years, the venue has hosted many local, interstate and international bands including Silverchair, Powderfinger, You Am I and Blink 182.

The venue's atmosphere and commitment to live music earned it a loyal following among students and music fans. # Iconic Performances The UniBar has played host to numerous iconic performances, including: - Cold Chisel - Midnight Oil - INXS - Men at Work - The Angels - Rose Tattoo - Mental as Anything - Australian Crawl - The Church - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - The Triffids.  In the 1990s and 2000s, the UniBar continued to host live music events, showcasing a diverse range of acts. Today, the venue remains a beloved institution in Adelaide's music scene, supporting local and emerging talent. The UniBar's contribution to Adelaide's music scene is undeniable. It has provided a platform for countless local musicians, helping to launch the careers of many notable Australian bands. The venue's commitment to live music has earned it a loyal following and a reputation as one of Adelaide's most iconic music venues.
